Instructions for pattern process
Here are some general instructions and guides as to the process I use when pattern cutting for zero-waste.
Feel free to try to decode them – sorry no images as yet. And please make any suggestions you can think of that might improve them.

Thank you so much for these instructions, they should get me started. I love working at half scale, and find Winifred Aldrich has some very clear illustrations of the way fabric behaves at different scales in her book “Fabric Form and Flat Patternmaking.”
This book also describes a different approach to patternmaking than most others (including her own) and could be particularly relevant to a zero-waste approach.
